Oor man in Boston, Mass., Michael C. Keith, supplied the chuckles with a double-header of Keith humour. Bo’ness poet Glenn Muir added to the fun with some pub gossip Scots-style. And Lincolnshire exile Alasdair McPherson kept us amused with a futuristic tale that may well have had its origins in Biblical times.
On the games front, the redoubtable Rab Christie penned the opening episodes of the latest McSerial blockbuster, Soap Opera Scotland’s Game of Gnomes, set in the Mother of All Parliaments (pictured). While Musselburgh poet Roger McKillop entertained us with memories of the games he got up to as a sports instructor.
